100 Head Cattle Yard

December 2025

The brief:

Working closely with our client we designed this cattle yard to sit next to an existing roadway and to optimize animal flow.

The 100-head cattle capacity is divided into 3 pens for easy handling.

A vee shaped forcing pen funnels the animals into the drenching race where they can be easily accessed from the catwalk.

Weighing is done in the crush and the 3 way drafting unit leads to our heavy duty loading ramp featuring a catwalk.

Timeframe:

5 weeks from confirmation of order to completion.

20 Head Cattle Yard

January 2025

The brief:

Install a yard to comfortably manage around 20 head, with a crush and head bail for safe handling, plus the ability to load stock straight from the property.

45 Head Cattle Yard

August 2023

The brief:

Design and install a new set of cattle yards to replace old wooden yards that were removed when building the Otaki to Peka Peka Expressway.

Yards must hold 30 head, have 2 pens, 3 way drafting, a headbail and drenching race with catwalk. Installation on new metal pad.

Timeframe:

6 Weeks from confirmation of design to completion.

45 Head Cattle Yard

January 2023

The brief:

Design and install a new set of cattle yards to replace old wooden yards.

Yards must hold one truck load of animals, have 2 pens, 3 way drafting, a headbail and drenching race with catwalk. Forcing pen and drenching race to have a concrete floor. New metaled entrance way and gates to be installed.

Timeframe:

1 month from confirmation of design to completion.
